I had the pleasure of serving as Chief Medical Officer of Cody Regional Health during Doug’s tenure as CEO. I saw firsthand the importance he placed on surrounding himself with people of high potential, working with them to set attainable but challenging goals, and ensuring they had the support and resources necessary to execute.

It seems to me he considered his highest accomplishments to be the development of leaders around him, and assisting them in progressing to positions of increasing responsibility. His ability to inculcate this leadership style in others is one of his greatest strengths.
